Release: Datsik - Light The Fuse (Terravita Remix)

When it comes to going hard, Terravita will almost always do everything in their power to blow a hole in your speakers.  Another release from Dim Mak today, the bass trio finds a way to take Datsik's already filthy track to another level.  It seems peculiar that they are the ones creating a dubstep version of a Datsik tune, but you won't really care once you give it a listen.  We weren't prepared for how hard this hits you in the face but can't say we don't love it.  Even though he dropped it a while ago, we included the original version because we just felt like listening to it again.

Release: Deorro & D.O.D - Play

We posted about Deorro on Sunday night but this collaboration with D.O.D is just too impressive to pass up.  "Play" is out today on Dim Mak, and they create a fury of electro chaos that was meant to get crowds moving.  Also worth noting is the B-Side from Deorro entitled "Crank It Up", that once again showcases the command he has over his sound.  Unfortunately we only have the Beatport preview of the latter so grab your copy to hear the whole thing!

It's Friday and we want to make sure you have more free music! We got caught up in the excitement of EDC New York last week and we wanted to make sure we didn't leave you hanging this week. Enjoy!

TRACKLIST
First up we have a really fun electro track from Oliver & Diano entitled "Fire Alarm".
Bro Safari teams up with UFO! to give us some gritty drum & bass that you need to check out.
EDITOR'S PICK: Dim Mak gives us a great tune from Butch Clancy featuring Amy K that we can't get enough of.
Back on the house front, Tisoki & Skoshki collaborate for the extremely rhythmic "Only You" that will have you moving.
Last but not least, T.Y.C.O. goes hard like usual with their track for the EDC Discovery Project, "Super Mcnasty".

Weekend Liftoff

We here at SYNTH want you to enjoy your weekend as much as possible, so every Friday, right here on our blog, we're gonna post FIVE songs that are absolutely 100% FREE to download. Some old, some new, some you've never heard, the one common trait is that they are absolute bangers. So let us help you make your weekend one filled with good music and good times.

Featuring:
EDITOR'S PICK: We already loved the original but I.Y.F.F.E. gives us a huge dubstep remix of Hummingbird by Tut Tut Child.
Vena Cava gives creates some extremely melodic dubstep with his newest tune "X."
DJ Snake puts a spin on "Move Your Feet" by Junior Senior and catches you off guard with his drops, in a good way.
This has been around for a bit but Mikkas' track "Moth" is perfectly described by the label he gives it: "ElectranceStep."
Our fifth dose of bass comes in the form of MAKJ's hard electro remix of Zipper by Sound of Stereo.

Showtek - Crunk/Slowdown EP

After having their hit "Cannonball" become a staple of main stage house sets worldwide, it's no surprise that Showtek brings the heat again with their newest release. Out on Dim Mak Records now, their EP "Crunk/Slowdown" gives fans more of the high energy electro house with hardstyle influence they have been craving. "Slow Down" is reminiscent of the 'lets go wild' drop of "Cannonball" and is sure to be an anthem at festivals this summer.

Make sure to grab the EP here:

Alvin Risk - Skyclad

The Washington D.C. native continues to show why he's a member of the OWSLA and Dim Mak teams.  Featuring a remix catalog for the likes of Skrillex, Kaskade, and Steve Aoki (to name a few), Alvin Risk is quickly becoming a dominant force in the EDM community.  He returns this time with "Skyclad," a track with catchy vocal melodies that eventually give way to a monster drop he has been known to deliver.

Be sure to grab this track on iTunes when it officially drops tomorrow.

Clockwork - Surge EP

Clockwork recently debuted his new EP  "Surge" on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records.  Wynter Gordon lends vocals for the title track, and he follows that with the fast paced "Tremor."  He continues his trend of creating dance floor destroying big room tracks that basically scream main stage at any festival. Two tracks and two great reasons to check out this L.A. Producer.
