Video Release: The M Machine - Tiny Anthem

We have previously featured The M Machine's sophomore EP, Metropolis Pt. II, and today we have their brand new music video set to the track 'Tiny Anthem' from Metropolis Pt. II. Animated by the extremely talented and distinct Augenblick Studios (Ugly Americans, Superjail) and directed by Chet Knebel and Hal Lee, this isn't just your standard music video. The smooth, vivid, and psychedelic animation style of Augenblick matched with the musical trio's vision of the story their albums tell is a perfect fit. A vivid story of good vs evil and a powerful device (The M Machine) with unrelenting power, this visual odyssey is something you have to experience. Not every artist that attempts "concept albums" like this are successful, but The M Machine looks to have done it.

Jay Fay - Dibby Dibby

Featured on the Moombahton Forever compilation, Jay Fay's track "Dibby Dibby" is straight moombahton fire. The minute long intro sets up a monster moombahton breakdown that can make any crowd bounce uncontrollably. Showcasing an aggressiveness similar to "100% In The Bitch" by Porter Robinson, "Dibby Dibby" gives us a tantalizing example of what Jay Fay and the moombahton genre is capable of.

You can get the full Moombahton Forever compilation here!

SirensCeol - Whiplasher

Stephen Burke, better known as SirensCeol, is a sensation in the making. Currently enrolled in UC Berkeley his main focus up to this point has been producing, and the results have been very well received in the EDM community. His latest electro house track, "Whiplasher", is a stellar example of what this 20 year old producer is capable of. Loaded with growls, soaring melodies, and epic fills, this track is a banger in it's own right. Look for much, much more to come from this young American talent.

Also, for all our US west coast readers, SirensCeol will be opening for Mat Zo with ANK this Friday in Sacramento, CA at the Sunrise Event Center

All of his tracks are free via his Soundcloud page.

Lazy Rich - Brainfreeze

UK native Lazy Rich has been deemed a master of "complextro" by fans and artists alike. His deeply technical and aggressive productions are evidence why, like his latest release "Brainfreeze." An absolute tour de force in electro house, the grinding leads and deeply technical progression of the track will get anyone with a heartbeat excited. This track chugs along with sinister pace and never misses a step even in the downbeats. Look for big things on the horizon (Remixes and a full scale music video to name some) from the very un-lazy Lazy Rich.

Also check out his monster remix of "Addicted" by Wideboys which is also below.

Above & Beyond - Black Room Boy (Above & Beyond Club Mix)

Jono, Tony, and Paavo, better known as the legendary trance group Above & Beyond are no stranger to producing incredible tracks. Their first output of 2013, "Black Room Boy" is more of exactly what we love from the English trio. Teaming up with outstanding vocalist Richard Bedford has been a proven success with hits like "Sun & Moon," "Thing Called Love," and the success continues with "Black Room Boy." The club mix of the track brings a darker perspective to the track with a deep powerful bassline and sidechained synth work that will make trance lovers fall in love with Above & Beyond all over again.

Leo Pigot - Hyperion

Today we have the rising star Leo Pigot's "Hyperion." His fresh take on the now oversaturated electro house genre is as addicting as it is intuitive. "Hyperion" stands out with it's delightfully melodic chords and leads, which eventually give way to a gritty, greasy, dubstep-esque drop full of powerful wobbles and bleep-happy fills. The French asset shows he's not scared to bend and even blend genres, and does so with superior skill. The result is a tantalizing and catchy tune that is sure to make some waves. Already being supported by Tiesto and Lazy Rich, rest assured more excellent productions are to come from Leo.

Release: Shift K3Y - Frozen

British Producer Shift K3Y releases his Frozen EP today under Borgore's "Buygore" label.  The title track "Frozen" is available as a free download to promote the EP. "Frozen" combines vocal work reminiscent of mid-90's hip hop/R&B with an array of soaring chiptune melodies and a deep surging bass chorus. The EP is available on Beatport and iTunes today.

Release: Alvaro - Rock Music

Released on Hardwell's Revealed label today, "Rock Music" by Alvaro is here just in time for the festival season. Having already been heard in a select few Hardwell sets, the track boasts a main stage sound, not unlike Revealed's other releases. With its massive pumping chorus and superior synth lines, "Rock Music" is sure to make its rounds in Ultra and the many festivals to come as an absolute dance floor destroyer.

CHVRCHES - Recover

Formed in 2011 in Glasgow, CHVRCHES is a synthpop band that has only a handful of songs to their name so far. Lauren Mayberry, formerly of Blue Sky Archives fame, provides vocals for the fledgling group. This small sample of their sound has caught attention and garnered praise from artists such as Passion Pit, Porter Robinson, and Pete Tong. The track we have here is a premiere single off their first EP due out March 25th. Both are titled "Recover." Mayberry's divine vocals backed by the incredibly upbeat pads, percussion, and keyboard work of her two bandmates combine to make an aural experience you simply need to hear. The song has the strong vocals necessary for a US radio hit but also the technicality EDM fans worldwide can appreciate. With acts like CHVRCHES emerging on the horizon, the future of music has never seemed so bright.

Also check out their previous single "The Mother We Share", which was heavily praised by Porter Robinson and featured on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.

Laserkraft 3D & The Gooniez - Voyager I (Falko Niestolik Remix)

Picking up remix duties for Laserkraft 3D and The Gooniez track "Voyager I", Falko Niestolik reminds why he's been commissioned to remix artists such as Michael Jackson, Axwell, and Steve Angello. The remix master from Berlin's take on "Voyager I" keeps much of the original buildup the same while reworking the chorus into a flurry of super low kicks complemented with an addicting and familiar German lead. Once again Falko has proven that when it comes to remixes, he's truly a master of his art.

Syn Cole - April

Out recently on Avicii's LE7ELS imprint, we have an irresistible house track from Syn Cole titled "April." This is the swede's first original track, and sets the bar high for future releases. "April" captures the now famous swedish house sound with its soaring chords and uptempo rise, but also adds something new to the typical formula by throwing in a deep bass line and even wobbles at times. Having already been spotlighted on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, this track is sure to grow fast in popularity, and rightly so.

Zaa Ft. Molly Bancroft - Timebomb (Audien Remix)

Audien delivers another great remix, this time turning Mexican producer Zaa's "Timebomb" into a progressive house anthem. Released alongside the original mix of the tune, it uses the entrancing vocals of Molly Bancroft exceedingly well by pairing them with equally delicate and harmonious chord progressions. Audien continues his streak of stellar tracks with this one, and doesn't miss a single step.

Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix)

Cedric Gervais, the upbeat Miami producer of original club hits such as "Molly" and top notch remixes for everyone from Borgore to Katy Perry, is back with another sensational remix. This time around he turns Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" into a blissful 128 beat per minute joyride. Matching Lana's magnificent vocals with an equally enthusiastic chord progression, Gervais has created an upbeat house track that can appeal to music fans across the board. Currently #2 on the Beatport Top 100, this track is a must hear.

Zeds Dead & Omar Linx - Cowboy (Torro Torro Remix)

Torro Torro has built a reputation of creating absolutely vicious tracks such as their remix of "Go Deep" by Wax Motif. The original mix of "Cowboy" is a massive dubstep/hip-hop fusion track with a sinister drop. This remix of "Cowboy" is no less powerful, if not more, with its absolutely destructive chorus and powerful laser-esque melody. While most artists try to do a little of everything, Torro Torro appears to have found their niche and are dedicated to perfecting it. All in all, this remix of "Cowboy" serves as an absolute monster of a peak time track, and appears set to be featured in many performances in the fast approaching festival season.

Release: The M Machine - Metropolis Pt. II

The M Machine wants you to forget everything you knew about Electro House. With the second part of their  debut EP released today on OWSLA, seekers of new and exciting electronic music can rejoice. The best example of this renaissance can be found in the 4th track on the EP, "Schadenfreude." A peaceful beginning paired with soothing vocals leads the way to an explosive chorus rife with destructive lows and piercing highs. We already are looking forward to more forward thinking tracks from the inventive young trio.

Artist Spotlight: Dillon Francis

If you have ever been on Twitter or Tumblr, chances are you know who Dillon Francis is. His internet presence is enormous and all consuming, and whether you hate it or love it, you cannot deny his massive following. You might even forget that when Dillon isn't pasting his face on the heads of cats or making jokes about "Levels", he's producing musical content that is absolutely impeccable.

Firmly planted in the realm of the now surging genre called "Moombahton", LA native Dillon is a beast in the studio. It all started with a track by the name of "Masta Blasta", which had one very important fan: Diplo.

"Masta Blasta" opened the door for his followup single "IDGAFOS" and OWSLA debut EP "Something, Something, Awesome." to come barreling through. In fact, his EP was so well received that for the first time in Beatport's history, the number one release spot was held by a moombahton artist. His tracks would be heard in countless other artists sets at any show or festival around. The moombahton craze was in full effect thanks in no small part to Dillon's irresistible sound.

Not to settle for one genre, Dillon as of late has embraced another exploding genre, Trap. The addicting combination of Hip-Hop and EDM has already found several monster tracks in Dillon's discography. From being featured on Calvin Harris' album "18 Months" alongside Dizzee Rascal in "Here 2 China" to releasing his "Rebirth" trap remixes of "Masta Blasta" and "Bootleg Fireworks", Dillon has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in any genre he touches.

With an absolutely incredible resume built already, and a live show you'll never forget (Just go to one), Dillon Francis' name is going to be around for quite some time. And rightfully so.

Oh yeah, he's also hilarious.

W&W and Ummet Ozcan - The Code

Out recently on Hardwell's revealed label, we have a monster track from "Trouse" innovators W&W and fellow Netherlands asset Ummet Ozcan."The Code" starts off with little more than a sound reminiscent of an error prompt on your PC, but steadily builds into a furious low-end onslaught with a remarkable top line. This track rightfully held the #1 spot on beatport for 2 weeks, so here's to hoping more we see more output like this from this Amsterdam trio.

The Trap music explosion is anything but under the radar now, and we have a great example of why right here. Bare is giving away another free download with his new Trap single "Deal With It." His stellar mix of 808 drums, Hi-Hats, and glitch-hop top lines makes this track a certified banger. Make sure you get his track "BMW" too, also available as a download.

Schoolboy - Project No-Autotune

One of the many young artists on the cutting edge of EDM, Schoolboy is back with another impressive release aptly titled "Project No-Autotune."  Not content with just a powerful track, Schoolboy also has a phenomenal video to really drive the experience home.  Be on the lookout for more strong contributions from this guy. And yes, slow motion makes everything look cooler.

Walden - Intropial

Walden releases another feel-good tune with "Intropial," the Australian DJ/Producer's followup to the extremely danceable "Ciaco." What makes Walden's music even more enjoyable is his story, a true feel good that is sure to inspire any and all fledgling DJ/Producers. Below is an excerpt taken from Walden's Soundcloud Bio:

If not for a school field trip to Sydney’s Powerhouse technology museum, none of this story might have transpired. During the visit, Walden and his classmates were given a demo of the audio workstation software Acid Pro, and the 12-year-old was immediately hooked. Without proper musical training, he picked up a copy of the program and set on a mission to experiment with every possible sample and loop he could get his hands on to start concocting tunes. This musical output varied wildly, veering from ambient one moment, to techno the next, and on to jazz the moment after that. But when he was 13, Walden discovered the Clubland compilation series, and his path into dance music was assured.

After brief flirtations with happy hardcore, hard trance and electro, his sound emerged - a dash of Avicii, a pinch of Deadmau5, and a heavy helping of Wolfgang Gartner, but more importantly that intangible thing that makes an artist stand out... originality. Walden’s sound most closely resembles, well, Walden.

Before long, Walden had created himself a profile on ReverbNation and within a couple of weeks, Big Beat Records, the dance label of music industry royalty Atlantic Records had discovered him and instantly snapped him up.

John Walden's journey is just beginning, and the future’s looking bright...

Amen, keep up the good work Walden.

Also, here is the music video for Ciaco. If you were wondering what Walden's live production is like, this video is a perfect example.

Clockwork - Surge EP

Clockwork recently debuted his new EP  "Surge" on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records.  Wynter Gordon lends vocals for the title track, and he follows that with the fast paced "Tremor."  He continues his trend of creating dance floor destroying big room tracks that basically scream main stage at any festival. Two tracks and two great reasons to check out this L.A. Producer.
